Field Campaign

The field campaign will take place in Eureka, Canada. Planned observations include:

  • Snow depth transects with Magnaprobe
  • Snow pit observations including snow specific surface area
  • Snow micropenetrometer observations around central snowpits
  • Casted snow samples for 3D x-ray microtomography images
  • Roughness measurements of snow layer boundaries
